Michelle Edwards was a tireless writer of e-mails home from the Olympic Games in Athens.
Read extracts from her correspondence about what it was like to live in the Olympic Village,
how she prepared for her matches and much more...
Looking at our badminton results, I think we can be very proud of having reached our goal:
to qualify for the Olympics. Our players fought the best they could, but I think we can safely
say that we are not good enough YET. The gap from the very top of world badminton to our
standard is still big, but I feel we have closed the gap rapidly during the last three years.
